Blog:
Sometimes I think of things that would never occur to Red Green. I need to get this stuff off my mind so there'll be room for what my wife wants me to think about. thatsnotfunnyblog.com
Music
I've written the words and music to hundreds of songs, primarily for past tv series like Smith & Smith and Comedy Mill. Bob Doidge, our Musical Director, is credited for writing the Red Green theme but in fact he recorded a bed track of a chord progression and then sent it to me to write a tune. In a few days I went in and hummed the tune to him and he played it on his concertina. I was happy to give him the writing rights.

Playhouse
My first comedy writing job was in high school writing funny captions for pictures in the yearbook. Then I saw What's Up Tiger Lilly by Woody Allen and I wished that someday I'd get to have that ridiculous kind of fun. Thanks to Chum/City tv who had some public domain movies on their library, I got the chance. These shows were probably more fun to do than they are to watch but that's not my problem.

FACEBOOK CHANGES
Facebook has changed the rules and as a result only a small percentage of you are receiving our postings. One of our Lodge Members, James Ronevich, has suggested a solution but we need your help to do it. Thanks in advance. Here's what James says:
When a page is only "liked" by you, future status updates by Red just get sent to your "home" page, and tend to get lost in everything else your personal friends send you.
To solve this problem, when you're on Red's facebook page, look under the "like" tab for an option called "get notifications". If you select that, you will receive a notification whenever Red has a status update.
There is also an option under the "like" tab called "add to interest lists". If you select that, it will allow you easy access to Red on Facebook without having to remember a certain page name.
Unfortunately you can't make these changes using a smart phone or a tablet but once the option to "get notifications" is selected from a computer, you will be notified of any status update on any device you are using, smart phone and tablet included.
Hope this helps,
James Ronevich
thanks james!
